Nadolig Llawen!
It's nearly Christmas time; the turkey is being prepped and the chestnuts are ready to be roasted on that open fire. Dad is pinning his stocking up slightly higher than all the kids' to get Santa's attention and Mum is preparing her Christmas dinner schedule, possibly mentally adding a glass of wine between each stage!
Whatever your Christmas routine, we hope you could spare a minute to think about those less fortunate than yourselves. Hundreds of people will be spending their festive period in hospital, including those working as well as those confined to bed.
At Radio Bronglais, our volunteers will be thinking of everyone spending their time in Bronglais Hospital over this festive period, rather than at home with their loved ones. We do what we can to make everyone's experience in Bronglais Hospital as enjoyable as possible.
On Christmas Eve this year, RB FM volunteers will be braced against the wind and cold to stake out Morrison's in Aberystwyth, armed with jolly smiles and Christmas crackers! If you're heading for some last minute Christmas shopping, please be generous enough to pop your spare change into one of our collection pots. We rely heavily on the local generosity of our community to keep our service moving forward. Your help is greatly appreciated.
So keep an eye out for our volunteers on Christmas Eve, and an ear out for those sleigh bells overhead!
Diolch yn fawr, a Nadolig Llawen!
