Radio Bronglais FM is a registered charity and its service to Bronglais Hospital and the Aberystwyth community depends entirely on the work of its volunteer team. We are always looking for new volunteers to take the station forward.
Our volunteers come from all walks of life, but we all share a passion for music radio and a commitment to bringing a smile to the Aberystwyth community. We are always looking for more people to get involved with the station, maybe as a presenter, or maybe as part of our befriending service, or maybe to help us fundraise.
Volunteering looks brilliant on your CV and provides valuable experience. As a hospital radio station we give anyone with an interest in broadcasting a good way into the industry. Chris Moyles, Scott Mills and Simon Mayo are just a few of the famous personalities who started in hospital radio. Radio 1 presenter Aled Hayden-Jones kicked off his career at this very station. This could be you!
If you have a couple of hours spare each week and are interested in joining RB FM, we’d love to hear from you! You could be a university student, or maybe you’re retired, or perhaps you are able to fit in some volunteer work around your current job or other commitments. Whatever the case, we have a range of different ways you could contribute.
